Happy New Year to ya!!
How many resolutions, intentions or goals did you jot down for 2019? I have some big goals this year and some tiny little resolutions too and yes, I write them down! It’s fun to write them down and look back on them years later. Sometimes they happen, sometimes they don’t, but it always puts a smile on my face to reflect on them years later and work my bum off to try to accomplish them once they are put into a plan of attack!
Looking over my list of goals for this year, I noticed they were mostly business related! Ick! We all know there is more to life than business! So after some thought, I decided to challenge myself to a personal goal that I KNOW will benefit me in a million ways while trying to achieve it! I’ve decided to challenge myself to spending more time enjoying the outdoors! I know, I know. You are probably thinking that I already spend plenty of time outdoors and I would even consider myself an avid outdoors person. But honestly, I don’t think a person can ever get enough and I want to add new outdoor experiences, big and small, to my list of adventures in 2019, so I created my own challenge! 52 Outdoor Adventures / Activities in 52 Weeks!
Long term commitments like this are sort of daunting, so I have broken them down by seasons! Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, AND I would love to have you join me in this challenge! If not, the entire year, maybe the first season at least. It will be fun to share adventures with each other, our families and our friends too! And I think we will all benefit from a little dose of Nature Therapy!
So, what do you think, will you join me in this challenge? If you’d like to take the challenge, be sure to download the Winter Outdoor Activities Checklist to inspire you and keep you motivated to get outside!! Also, be sure to take photos and share them on social media to help inspire others to get outdoors! Plus, if you use the hashtag #livelongintheoutdoors on your photos, I’ll throw in some freebies and other cool prizes at the end of each season challenge for those of you that do!!
Keep your eyes out for more outdoor loving tips from me over the next few weeks, until then, I am wishing you a New Year fully loaded with happiness and adventure!
Peace, Love and Mountains!
